Confucianism developed over time into an Eastern religion/philosophy based
on obedience to the laws, honoring one's elders and family and treating others
the way one wants to be treated. It blended well with the Chinese religious
concept of Ancestor Worship as well as being popular with governments as
obedience to the law is a main concept of Confucianism.
